Decluttering
is this part of my life now?
- Sort items into needed and unneeded.
- Toss unneeded items into collection boxes.
- Organize survivors.
- Put away out of place items.
Limit decluttering sessions to 15 minutes to 30 minutes. Label boxes as follows:
- Put away - for items that belong somewhere
- Give away to charity
- Store
- Throw away
Clutter is the outcome of deferred decision making. It piles up around us because we can't or won't decide to release it when it's time has come.
